Oracle cancel their release of Solaris 12 OS and began to shift their focus to integrating SPARC and Solaris into Oracle Cloud. Oracle has continued to provide delivery updates to Solaris and SPARC support through 2034.
Now, Oracle will need to begin planning for a smooth transition to other IT platforms to avoid critical impacts on their organization.
